Differences between RGB and CMY

Createtime:2022-04-14   Hits:5158

Friends who have been exposed to LED wash moving head light, do you know the difference between RGB and CMY ?

Commonly used on smart lights such as light bulbs, RGB is the abbreviation of red, green and blue, which is an additive color mixing mode.

The more components of each color, the brighter the resulting color.

Then through the superposition of each other, we get all the colors we can perceive, which is our commonly used LED moving head light.

CMY is short for cyan, magenta, and yellow, and black is added to form a color mixing mode in which the CMYK colors are subtracted.

Through the filter, the reflected light that can be recognized by the human eye is reduced.

Regarding the two color mixing modes, RGB and CMY, which one do you think is better?
