Cost-effective & Compact:XZM C10 1000W Professional LED Profile Light, over 50000lm Output | Feature Video
XZM Lighting kicked off R&D of profile cutting lights back in 2016, spanning eight years to date. Its earlier mid-power profile models XF580 and XF680 are engineered for projection distances within 50 meters, while the newly launched C10 targets front wash applications over 70 meters. Equipped with a 1000W white LED module (high-CRI version optional), it gets its name C10 from the circular-shaped LED chips and optical lenses inside; the figure “10” stands for its 1000-watt rated power.
An output exceeding 50,000 lumens places the C10 among top-tier high-brightness profile fixtures, as proven by the industry development timeline. In 2014, Robe unveiled the BMFL with a 1700W conventional discharge lamp delivering 40,000lm. Claypaky released the SCENIUS in 2016 featuring a 1400W high-CRI conventional lamp at 32,000lm. In 2018, Claypaky launched the AXCOR PROFILE 900 LED profile rated at 24,000lm. Subsequent 1000W LED profile lights commonly hit around 35,000lm, whereas the XZM C10 and equivalent competing products surpass 50,000lm. (All lumen data sourced from public online information.)
The C10’s remarkable luminous output stems from upgraded LED chip luminous density, enabling modern LED profile lights to outperform traditional discharge-source counterparts after matching their brightness level. Driven by rapid technical upgrades, LED light sources iterate far faster than conventional lamps.
Current-generation 1000W LED profile fixtures boast drastically improved brightness compared with versions from three years ago. Despite the low lumen depreciation of LED, used profile lights from previous generations cannot match the brightness of same-wattage new fixtures like the C10.
Will brighter profile lights supersede the C10 at identical power rating? Future technical advancements make it possible. Nevertheless, weighing only 35kg with ultra-high luminous efficiency and budget-friendly pricing, the C10 stands highly competitive and perfectly suits 70m–80m projection needs. Amid rising labor costs and shrinking profit margins worldwide, lightweight and cost-efficient lighting gear has become the top priority for most buyers.
